Omarchy Cmdtab

Why it exists

Made for the work, not the demo.

Omarchy Cmdtab lists open windows in the order you last used them. Hold Super and tap Tab to select the window you just left, keep tapping to go further back, then release Super to raise the selection. Shift+Tab moves the other way, and h and l walk the icons while Super is held.

The strip uses application icons, including Omarchy webapps, and shows the selected name on a compact overlay that follows the active theme. Recency comes from Hyprland’s own focus history, so the shell does not keep a second list. After installing the plugin, load the bundled Hyprland bindings so the switcher owns the keyboard only while it is open.
