Why it exists
Made for the work, not the demo.
Mnemo captures chats with a bookmarklet, a browser extension, or pasted Markdown, then keeps them in folders and tags on your machine. Duplicate detection compares a new import with chats from the same source and asks whether to update the existing entry or create another.
The archive is a SQLite database, copied attachments, and a Tantivy index in the app data directory. There is no account and no cloud. When you want it, a configured Claude Code or Codex CLI can write a title, summary, and tags. Snapshots pack the database and attachments into one zip and restore atomically.
