Why it exists

Made for the work, not the demo.

Sandkey fills the default users you type over and over on localhost, .test, .local, and similar hosts. It watches for username and password fields, including forms added later by a page, and offers the credentials whose domain pattern matches.

Nothing is synced. Credentials live in chrome.storage.local, with no account and no master password, which is why it is meant for local defaults rather than production secrets. Wildcard patterns prefer the longest match, and autofill dispatches native input events so React, Vue, and Angular notice the change.
