Why it exists
Made for the work, not the demo.
elvm decides which Elephc binary runs. A committed .elephc-version selects the compiler for that project, so contributors and CI jobs build with the same one. ~/.elvm/bin goes on PATH once; a shim resolves the version and execs the real binary.
It installs published releases, rolling or dated nightlies, or a build from source where no binary exists. Running elephc never downloads anything: if the selected version is missing, elvm names the command that installs it.
Install elvm, then choose a compilerterminal
curl -fsSL https://get.elephc.dev | sh
elvm install latest
