Why it exists
Made for the work, not the demo.
The cj client is the open-source side of Code Journal. It captures what a project has learned, installs hooks for Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, Grok, Kimi Code, Pi, and OpenCode, and carries Git context from one session to the next.
Journal storage lives on a Code Journal service, not in this repository. The client handles login, briefs, search, plans, tasks, and an offline outbox. The public home is codejournal.online; that service is still being prepared, and cj login can point at any other Code Journal service you use.
